Before Placing Your Order
How many days in advance do I need to place my order?
Our trucks fill up very quickly, please try to place your order 4 business days in advance to have the best chance at your intended delivery date.
When do I have to order to get a Monday delivery delivery?
As Monday's are our busiest delivery dates, our order cut off is Wednesday by 10 am for the following Monday delivery.
Most of the time, ordering by Wednesday at 10 am will guarantee a Monday delivery date, however we reserve the right to refuse delivery depending on availability.
I need to receive my order by 7:30 am. How can I guarantee that?
We DO NOT guarantee delivery times as there are many unpredictable circumstances when making deliveries (ex. traffic, an accident, issues with the truck). If you need your order early in the morning, we recommend ordering it for delivery the day before.
What is your minimum order and delivery fee?
At this time, we do not have a minimum order or delivery fee!
Receiving Your Order
My delivery driver is later than expected.
We're sorry to hear that the delivery is arriving later than expected.
Drivers are often met with obstacles such as construction, accidents, and road closures which can cause traffic. For this reason, we do not guarantee any delivery times.
We recommend that if you absolutely need your order by a certain time, that you order it one day in advance to avoid disappointment.
Will my delivery driver put all perishable items in the fridge?
Our drivers will always try to help wherever possible, and will sometimes put products away if there is room in the fridge, and if their schedule permits. However, it is not part of their job description to put products away.
We always recommend having someone looking out for your order on the day it is arriving, that way perishable products do not go to waste.
What are your delivery hours?
We deliver during school hours. Most of our deliveries are made between 7 am - 3 pm.
After Receiving Your Order
I was sent the wrong item. How do I get the correct one?
We're very sorry that you were sent the wrong item. While we do try our best to fulfill all orders with accuracy, mistakes do happen due to the large variety of items we carry.
If you would like to keep the item, please feel free to call us at (416) 291 - 4447 or email us at orders@healthyselections.ca. If the item is less money, we will adjust your invoice accordingly and send you an updated copy.
If you would like to receive the correct item, please call or email us and we will try our absolute best to accommodate a swap on our next available delivery date.
I'm missing an item. What now?
We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you receive the order and you are missing an item, please give us a call as soon as possible as there is a chance that the driver forgot the item on the truck, and they may be able to come back to deliver the item.
If you notice within 24 hours of delivery, we will remove the item from your invoice, or try to get the item to you in a timely manner in the upcoming days.
The driver forgot to pick up the cheque. How can I pay for my order?
Starting during the 2024-2025 school year, Healthy Selections drivers will no longer be picking up cheques from schools.
All cheques must be mailed to 1330 Crestlawn Drive, Mississauga, ON.
We are implementing this rule to help with traceability.
I lost the copy of my invoice. What do I do?
No worries! Feel free to reach out by phone or email and a member of our team will be happy to send you a copy by email.
What do I do all of the milk crates?
We hear you! We know the milk crates can really pile up.
Our drivers will try their best to collect milk crates when they have space on their truck. Unfortunately, the earlier the delivery, the less space the driver will have on the truck.
If milk crates are overtaking your space, please feel free to give us a call and we will try our best to schedule a milk crate pick up.
